About The Workshop

Hospitals continually strive to improve patient safety and quality, & hospital leadership increasingly recognizes the importance of establishing a culture of safety.

The rationale behind safety culture surveys is that organizations cannot change what they do not measure. In order to achieve a culture of safety, hospitals and their employees must understand the prevailing values, beliefs, norms, attitudes, and behaviors with regard to patient safety in their facility.

It is important for SPSC to quantify the patient safety culture of health care organizations within Saudi Arabia to make improvements in patient safety.

This will be accomplished by assessing the status of healthcare organizations existing patient safety culture and determining areas of priority to target for improvement of patient safety.
